These Terms & Conditions outline how Te Ara Kaihanga’s Referral Program works and the rules for participation. By submitting a referral, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

The program is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older.
You may refer friends, family members, colleagues, or acquaintances.

You cannot refer yourself.

Employees of Te Ara Kaihanga may refer people but are not eligible for rewards unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. How to Make a Referral

To make a referral, you must email the details of the person you are referring to admin@tearakaihanga.nz or provide them directly to our team.

The person you refer must mention your name when contacting Te Ara Kaihanga.

A referral is only considered valid once the referred person signs a qualifying contract (see section 3) and pays the required deposit.

3. Qualifying Contracts

A qualifying contract is a signed agreement for any of our services with a minimum contract value of $50,000 (GST exclusive).

Only one referrer can be credited per referred person or project. If multiple people refer the same person, the reward will go to the first referral received and recorded by Te Ara Kaihanga.

4. Rewards

The reward is equal to 1% of the total contract value (GST exclusive), up to a maximum of $7,500.

Rewards are provided as vouchers for selected suppliers, such as Air New Zealand, Freedom, Kitchen Things, and Noel Leeming.

Alternative reward options may be agreed upon at Te Ara Kaihanga’s discretion.

Rewards will be arranged after the referred person has:

• Signed a qualifying contract and Paid their deposit.

5. No Limit on Referrals

You may make as many referrals as you like. Each qualifying referral will earn you a separate reward.

6. Promotion Period

The Referral Program is ongoing but may be amended or ended by Te Ara Kaihanga at any time. Any changes will be updated on our website.

7. Marketing and Publicity

By participating, you agree that your name and a photograph (if supplied) may be used for promotional purposes related to the Referral Program.

8. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, Te Ara Kaihanga’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Changes to the Program

Te Ara Kaihanga reserves the right to change, suspend, or cancel the Referral Program, including the reward value or conditions, at any time without notice.
